Description:

While on an art retreat near Halibuton, on Lake Kashagawigamog, my sister and I tried some outdoor painting. It was a few degrees below freezing and we set up on the open porch of our cottage - close enough that we could get warm when needed. It was a great afternoon, the paint didn't freeze and some little chickadees landed right on my paintbrush!
